Safeguarding Notice

Commitment to safety, ethical mentoring, and age-appropriate research collaboration for youth participants.

1. Under-18 Participant Care

Youth researchers under the age of 18 represent a vital part of the YSRN community. All interactions, project review sessions, and team communications are conducted in transparent, accountable online workspaces with clear conduct guidelines.

2. Mentoring Standards

All project meetings are held in recorded or multi-member group channels.
Mentors provide methodological and technical guidance without personal solicitation.
Parental or guardian contact can be provided upon request for any underage participant.

3. Reporting Concerns

Any participant or guardian who experiences or observes inappropriate behavior, harassment, or safety concerns may report directly to the founding team at safeguarding@ysrn.org for immediate review and resolution.
